Dr. Liston Bailey, a friend and colleague to many in the research center passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. Liston was an accomplished musician and a committed scholar. He was awarded a scholarship in music for Florida A & M and graduated with a degree in Music Education. Liston’s love of learning led him to earn a doctoral degree in education and four Masters degrees. He retained his passion for music, particularly jazz, throughout his life.
CEITR- UOPX Researchers Present at TQR 2020 Conference
Reflections from Dr. Rita Hartman: CEITR research team leader:
I have been very fortunate to collaborate with an outstanding group of faculty researchers during my time in the CEITR hub. Team members brought diligence, perseverance, and depth of knowledge to the team efforts, all five of the research teams were able to successfully complete their research project and complete a manuscript for submission. Four of the five articles are published and the fifth is under review.

We are excited to share that a team of seven researchers including UOPX faculty and CEITR (Center for Educational and Instructional Technology Research) Research Fellow at College of Doctoral Studies, University of Phoenix, will present "Competitive Paper" and "Roundtable" sessions at the SBI Annual Conference 2020 in New Orleans, LA, February 27-29, 2020.
