Dissertation to Publication (DTP) Workshop was established on January of 2017 with the mission of teaching the art of developing a publishable manuscript based on a dissertation. The tangible outcome of the workshop is to help the participants generate and submit their manuscripts to peer-reviewed academic journals. The workshop is four months long and offered twice per year. Certificate of completion is awarded to the participants who submit their manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals by end of the four-month long workshop.

Dr. Liston Bailey, a friend and colleague to many in the research center passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. Liston was an accomplished musician and a committed scholar. He was awarded a scholarship in music for Florida A & M and graduated with a degree in Music Education. Liston’s love of learning led him to earn a doctoral degree in education and four Masters degrees. He retained his passion for music, particularly jazz, throughout his life.
