Women Entrepreneurs Need Mentors
Qualitative research exploring how women benefit from mentoring and why more women do not have mentors
As of 2013 women entrepreneurs own 8.6 million businesses in the United States creating the fastest growing business segment in the United States. A phenomenological study of women entrepreneurs reinforces the benefits employing a mentor. Two themes that emerged from the study were the value of a mentorship experience and the betterment from employing a transformational leadership style.
