Coaching education: Coming of age
Invited editorial for the special issue of Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture (JPOC) on Executive Coaching Education. This article, which does not include an abstract, is an introduction to GSAEC's (Graduate School Alliance of Coach Education) Academic Standards for Graduate Programs in Executive and Organizational Coaching and an introduction to this special issue of JPOC. The article stars with a history of the field of graduate coach education and includes a figure of the overview of the GSAEC Academic Standards. The editorial article also includes an introduction to the rest of the articles in the issue, which were collected from presentations at GSAEC's First International Conference on Graduate Coaching Education: Theory, Research, and Practice, and includes their relationship to the GSAEC Academic Standards.
