Senior Research Fellow Dr. Lynne Devnew, Women and Leadership Research Group, Center for Leadership Studies & Educational Research has much to celebrate these days. Devnew is the author of a chapter for a new book edited by Susan R. Madsen, titled The Handbook of Research on Gender and Leadership from Edward Elgar Publishing. The manuscript is a compilation of the work among 27-chapter author teams from around the world.

A cavalcade of presentation tracks and types of presentations, as well as a mix of genders, University of Phoenix schools including both School of Advanced Studies (SAS) and a regional center, faculty, students and alumni, recently received long awaited acceptance letters to speak at the June 2017 International Leadership Association (ILA) Women and Leadership conference.

While the number of University of Phoenix presenters at this year’s 2016 Annual International Leadership Association (ILA) Atlanta conference was small, their scholarship made big gains and much visibility.
