Users Experiencing Difficulty Updating Profile

Users have  been experiencing a variety of difficulties while updating certain elements of their user profile. This includes:

  • Adding Presentations
  • Adding Publications
  • Adding Scholarly Activity
  • Experiencing errors while saving the user profile after items of the above type have been successfully added.
  • Losing content that was previously saved or returning to a blank profile.

Possible causes include:

  • Using an unsupported or out-of-date browser (Chrome and Firefox are recommended).
  • Failure to save a profile after adding new items.
  • Failure to click 'add another item' when adding multiple items.

Outside of the above, some users are experiencing technical issues even when the process is completed normally, indicating problems that may require assistance from the support team.
