SAS Alumni Group Hosts a Webinar with Military Veteran Dr. Daniel Roberts

The SAS Alumni Special Interest Group will be hosting its second alumni presenter for its monthly webinar series featuring Dr. Daniel Roberts, a 26-year Army veteran.  For this webinar, Dr. Roberts will discuss the opportunities he has been able to take advantage of since graduating with his doctorate as well as the support he’s received from University of Phoenix to enhance and build upon his research and scholarship activities.  

Dr. Roberts is an alumnus of the University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies and is a Fellow with the SAS Alumni Special Interest Group. He currently serves in the U.S. Army as a religious affairs specialist where he oversees a variety of products and services related to the chaplaincy.  Dr. Roberts’ current research efforts are oriented towards military women’s issues, including emotional and spiritual support for female soldiers and moral injury theory. Dr. Roberts completed the DM/IST program in 2016.  He also holds a B.A. in management and ethics and an M.S. in information systems.
