The University is offering a new award program to staff and non-SAS faculty, overseen by the Office of Scholarship Support. The Scholarship Presentation Award is a two tiered program that will award staff and non-SAS faculty for presenting their research at peer reviewed respected conferences in their field. (SAS faculty are encouraged to apply for the SAS Presentation Award). Like the other award programs, the applicant must be representing University of Phoenix and no other competing educational institutions at this event and the representation must be visible at the conference, with documentation attached with the application materials. There are two award levels: Tier 1, at $1,000, for presentations at major disciple specific, peer-reviewed conferences (for example, national or regional conferences that are backed by reputable professional or academic associations/societies, organized thematically) and Tier 2, at $500, for presentations at emergent or general conferences (for example, conferences that take place multiple times a year, are general in scope, often non-thematic). If you have questions about a conference and where it might fall in this tier structure, please reach out to OSS or a Center Research Chair. As with the SAS Research Presentation Award, this award can be applied for in conjunction with the Honorarium. For more information on the requirements for this program please read the program packet available on the Scholarship Presentation Award page.
