It’s Not Beethoven Anymore: Opening New Territories for Assessments by Integrating Music

This break-out session will include results from studies that focused on incorporation of technology integration with music as applied to the special education student population. Research has shown that incorporating different genres of music within K-12 classrooms has been utilized to increase students’ test scores. This session will engage participates in exploring how music can be applied in the classroom to positively affect assessment scores.
