The Fire Department was preparing a workshop on diversity to address fire fighters living together with mix of people in terms of gender, race, religion, and other beliefs.  Addressing this unique situation to their industry, they created a program designed to teach members how to have Courageous Conversations while respecting the differences of others. These conversations were in an attempt to mitigate arguments, law suits, and build workplace community as trust and respect are critical to performance. The Fire Personnel had tested the principles in their county with success and wanted to collaborate on how to launch this as a workshop and program for fire departments around the US.
