Ethics in Security Management

ETHICS IN SECURITY
 
   Security professionals must recognize ethical issues when they arise that are consistent with both their organization's mission and the law. Using actual "codes" as a guide, this session examines the importance of ethics in decision-making and organizational behavior.
 

Participants will be able to:

1.Recognize ethical issues and/or situations affecting security management operations.
2.Explain and defend the ASIS Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct.
3.Provide examples of appropriate decision making in organizational behavior.
4.Distinguish between ethics, values and personal beliefs.
