A Record Number of Submissions to the KWB Research Summit

A Record Number of Submissions to the KWB Research Summit

The fourth annual Knowledge Without Boundaries Research Summit is off to the races.  Submissions closed two weeks ago and the proposals are currently under peer-review.

This year's call for proposals resulted in over 100 submissions- almost doubling last year's call! The majority of the submissions were for the Research Paper Presentation track, followed by the Innovative Practice Papers track and then Practitioner Workshops.  When asked to select keywords related to the proposal, applicants' responses represent all areas of our school's programs, from the education and nursing to global business, and all types of research, from empirical research and applied research to best practices and leadership.  We look forward to a diverse program of events!

Thanks to a group of over 40 volunteer peer-reviewers, each proposal is currently under a peer-review process.  Selected proposals will be announced towards the end of July.

We are also proud to recognize the successful implementation of our new application management software, InfoReady.  Our dedicated UOPX Research and Scholarship portal, at phoenix.infoready4.com, provides a one-stop shop for applicants, reviewers, and KWB committee leaders to manage the proposal process, leaving the paper-and-email process behind.

Make sure to save the date! August 14th-17th, 2018, all online.
