Catalyzing Cross-Generational Entrepreneurship

Catalyzing Cross-Generational Entrepreneurship

While we are intrigued by the deeper research questions, we are especially driven by work that brings together rigorous analysis and relevant application. Our audience will include scholars, educators, practitioners, and policy-makers. We envision a robust, productve conversation among these groups to advance our expertise by turning ideas into a reality.  -- ICE Vision
The Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship Research Group vision to bring "together rigorous analysis and relevant application" (University of Phoenix, 2018) aligns with the Global Institute for Experienced Entrepreneurship mission to "design new quantitative and qualitative research to collect, aggregate, analyze and communicate the social and economic impact of an 'Experienced Economy'" (GIEE, 2018).  My team includes Dr. Ronald G. Leach, Dr. Ronald Heuss, Dr. Matthew Knight, and Dr. Jean Perlman; we partner with Elizabeth Isele, GIEE CEO, in exploring intergenerational entrepreneurship, have presented at the 7th Leuphana Conference on Entrepreneurship in January 2017, and will present a conceptual study at the 6th International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2018 in Washington, DC in March 2018.
The International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICIE) has been held in South Africa, USA, Thailand, Canada and Malaysia, includes participants from over 30 countries, and attracts academicians, practitioners, and innovation and entrepreneurship thought leaders.  The University of the District of Columbia (UDC), George Washington University, and Georgetown University are hosting the 6th International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship 2018 (ACPI, 2018).
Our ICIE 2018 presentation is entitled "Catalyzing Cross-Generational Entrepreneurship to Foster Economic Growth, Employ Youth, and Optimize Retirees’ Experience" and describes strategies to promote cross-generational entrepreneurship through the lens of career technical education as a model to foster economic growth, reduce youth unemployment, and optimize the experience of retirees. ICIE 2018 presenters may also share a poster for new research that is not well enough developed for a paper but for which feedback is invited.  We look forward to receiving comments and suggestions on our "Do Then Learn" poster.
Your thoughts and ideas are welcome!
