How to Make Your Profile Public on the Research Hub
Setting Your Profile to Public
Once created, user profiles on the Research Hub are publicly visible on the web. Learn more.
Even though the profile's web page is available on the web immediately after registration, it is not automatically included in the site's user directory or search engine listings. If you would like your profile to display on the user directory, the following is required.
- Log in to the website
- Click your username in the black navigation bar at the top of the page
- Click View Profile
- Click the "Edit" tab
- Click "Privacy Settings"
- Here you'll find the checkbox labeled "Display My Profile in the Directory." Check this box for you profile to become publicly visible.
- To show up in the directory, you will also need to request membership and be added to a group.
You must click “Save” at the bottom of the Edit profile screen before you close the window or navigate away. If you do not, the change will not take effect.
