The Phoenix Patriot

The Phoenix Patriot Magazine is a quarterly magazine that was published between 2012 and 2015.  I served as the Executive Editor and provided content on transition into civilian life and military service.  The purpose of the magazine was to celebrate the military community of the University of Phoenix.

Abstract:

At University of Phoenix, our appreciation for military service is what drives us to do our very best to support members of the broader military community.  This magazine is part of that effort.  With it, we strive to provide information that is relevant to our military readers and their unique lifestyle and hopefully, in some small way, improve their lives.  In the Phoenix Patriot, we highlight our military's accomplishments so their success may inspire others.  Any member of the military knows that change is a defining characteristic of this calling.  In the Phoenix Patriot we provide a series of stories on transitioning from military to civilian life, something every member of the military will face one day.
