How do we move forward?

This is an article by Francis Wardle and Patrica Vowell. Francis Wardle was chair of Patricia's doctoral committee. He is white; she is black. The article explores issues of race, racism, bias, and discrimination in education, from early childhood to graduate school.

Abstract: 

This article explores the common bond between Francis Wardle and Patricia Vowell. They are both interraciallly married. It then explores experiences both authors have had in education due to their racial backgrounds. Finally, the article explores ways to address racism in education in the future.
