Partners of the Americas is comprised of individual chapters in the U.S., Central and South America. I am President of the Colorado chapter, responsible for ongoing events, leadership, and fiscal integrity. We run a variety of programs in the US and coordinate with programs in Brazil. In the summer of 2018 we implemented a program called TRIP. which brought public school teachers from the city of Belo Horizonte, MG, to Greeley, Colorado, for an intensive English language program. We also send people to a research center in the Atlantic Rainforest, called IRACAMBI. Travelers use U.S. Department of State grants to travel, and stay in local home-stays.
