Nursing Students' Contextual Perspectives in a Computer-Aided Simulated Environment: A Case Study

Dr. Cheryl Udensi (CDS DHA alumna - 2019) completed her dissertation in November and was eager to publish quickly because she had accepted a new position in January 2020.  The CEITR Dissertation to Publication Individual Support Program helped Dr. Udensi achieve this goal.  We are happy to report Dr. Udensi, Dr. Irene Chen, Dr. LauraAnn Migliore, and Dr. Louise Underdahl (CEITR Research Fellow) co-authored and submitted a manuscript based on Dr. Udensi's dissertation research to Nurse Education in Practice on December 31, 2019.

Prospective authors are encouraged to consider CEITR's Dissertation to Publication programs as a venue for realizing publication aspirations:

  • The "Individual Support" program is appropriate for the participants who are self-disciplined, well informed about how to write a manuscript, and prefer to develop the manuscript based on their own pace.
  • The "Dissertation to Publication" workshop is appropriate for novice authors who are interested in learning about how to write a journal manuscript and need structure and timelines to complete/submit their papers to the journals.
