We are excited to share the news that 15 authors have recently notified us of their manuscript’s publication following their involvement in the Dissertation to Publication Workshop:
A scientific study by Dr. Paula Miller and Dr. James Connelley has been accepted by the International Journal of Public and Private Perspectives on Healthcare, Culture, and the Environment.
The 2020 article titled, “Walk to health: The transtheoretical model for behavior change applied to exercise” was a result of the authors’ hard work and dedication in the Needed Dissertation to Publication Workshop. A special congratulations is also in order to the team of workshop reviewers: Dr. Elizabeth Johnston, Dr. Louise Underdahl, Dr. Jim Lane, Dr. Sandy Nunn, Dr. Debbie Ritter Williams, Dr. Ryan Rominger, Dr. David Proudfoot, Dr. Rita Hartman, Dr. Patricia D’Urso, and Dr. Andrew Lawlor for assisting in the development of their team’s manuscript in the workshop.
The International Journal of Public and Private Perspectives on Healthcare, Culture, and the Environment is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal which utilizes two peer reviewers to analyze the paper in order to recommend a decision for publication. The reviewers found the study to be of great interest to the field and made recommendations that ultimately contributed to the editorial board’s decision of publishing the article. We are extremely proud of Dr. Miller & Dr. Connelley's scholarly accomplishments and are honored for them to represent the University of Phoenix and the Dissertation to Publication Workshop.
