General Faculty Meeting, Spring 2017

The Spring 2017 General Faculty Meeting (GFM) was held on April 8, 2017. Vice President and Director Dr. Jan Cardwell discussed community, alumni, industry, staff/faculty engagement and student/classroom experience. Additionally, she discussed the increase in Student Resource Center traffic and the comprehensiveness of Phoenix Rising Career Fridays. Career Fridays include workshops, onsite employer interviews, virtual and snap shot resumes, and head shots and biography services.

Academic Affairs Director Dr. Bonnie Ellis discussed the benefits of faculty alignment under the new organizational structure, which includes Academic Operations, Provost, and Campus Services.

Deputy Title IX Coordinator Raquel Sosa from the Office of Dispute Management provided insights and strategies for Title IX compliance. Office of Dispute Management staff are available to address questions and issues.
