Detroit Campus 6th Annual Faculty Scholarly Pursuits Poster Session a Success

The 6th Annual Faculty Scholarly Pursuits Poster Session was held at the Detroit Campus on Saturday, April 16th.  

Special guest, Dr. Mark McCaslin addressed the faculty on scholarship, research, and innovation.  Dr. McCaslin also judged the poster session and presented the “Best of Boyer” to faculty Anita Hicks for her poster presentation on How Learning Teams Benefit from Marketing.

25 faculty participated with over 100 faculty viewing and voting on the top three posters for depth of scholarship.

The winners and topics are:

  • 1st Place: Antoinette Dziedzic -Assessment of Faculty Incivility:  A Quantitative Correlational Study
  • 2nd Place: Hildegarde Selig and Kevin Walsh - First year Coaching Initiative
  • 3rd Place: Anita Hicks - How Learning Teams Benefit from Marketing

Winners were given time to elaborate on their studies during the General Faculty Meeting.

The Scholarship Committee for the Detroit Campus includes; Dr. Bonnie Ellis, Antoinette Dziedzic, and Domonique White. Special thanks to Kevin Walsh and Scott Sowers for tabulating the votes.
