Today there are four generations of nurses working collaboratively in healthcare organizations, and each individual nurse has a unique perspective with potential to influence how they act and respond to work by the decisions they make. Nurse decisions influence the nurse’s work and patient care outcomes however there is inadequate understanding as to how a nurse’s generational identity, level of nursing education, and years of experience as a nurse impacts the nursing decision making process.
