Office Hours - Implementing Research

Office Hours for Implementing Research Method and Design

Dr. Ryan Rominger, Associate Research Chair for the Center for Educational and Instructional Technology Research, and co-leader of the Research & Methods SIG will be available for Office Hours related to qualitative and mixed methods on Tuesdays by appointment only. Possible Hours for Meetings (by Appointment Only)

  • Tuesday (Arizona/Mountain Standard Time Zone)

    • 9-11 noon
    • 12-2 pm

Dr. Frederick Lawrence, quantitative methodologist at the Research & Methods SIG will be available for Office Hours related to quantitative method on Mondays by appointment only. You may contact Frederick by emailing fplawrence@email.phoenix.edu.

Please use your University of Phoenix email address (for verification purpose) to request the appointments. 

We encourage use of the office hours by:

  • Doctoral students who need to talk through general research issues, such as 'how do I record my interview?' or 'now that I have my data, how do I analyze it?' or even 'what are qualitative or quantitative data analysis programs?'
  • Doctoral students who have methods questions and are looking to talk through a methodological issues - note that Ryan may refer you to one of our methods experts as needed
  • Faculty who wish to discuss the use of research methods with which they are not familiar
  • Faculty who want to explore resources to provide to their students for specific research methods
