
The proposed mixed methods research using Grounded Theory, framed by critical race theory (CRT), will explore and investigate the personal experiences of K-12 educators with racism in school cultures and the ways they address experiences with embedded racism in school cultures in their professional practices. Using this design, a sample of 100 participants from a population from a major urban school district will be interviewed using a semi-structured interview.
