Narration and Application of Educators’ Experiences with Racism in School Cultures

Narration and Application of Educators’ Experiences with Racism in School Cultures

The proposed mixed methods research using Grounded Theory, framed by critical race theory (CRT), will explore and investigate the personal experiences of K-12 educators with racism in school cultures and the ways they address experiences with embedded racism in school cultures in their professional practices. Using this design, a sample of 100 participants from a population from a major urban school district will be interviewed using a semi-structured interview.
