Charlotte Campus

Charlotte Campus

Founded in June 2010 by Dr. Alex Kocharyan, the Charlotte Campus Research Center promotes academic research, publications and presentations at professional conferences through quarterly training sessions as well as Poster sessions and Faculty Scholarship Symposiums. Since then, CCRC has conducted numerous trainings on research methods, publication, etc. CCRC fully embraced a team concept promoting collaborative research efforts by its members. Faculty members are able to find matching research interests for further exploration. Within the last few years several groups applied and received UOPX research scholarship grants. CCRC has also produced 4 Research Fellows and a number of Research Affiliates currently associated with different Research Centers at School of Advanced Studies. Dr. Leo Maganares is currently leading a student chapter to promote campus students’ research interests. CCRC has over 50 articles, books, and posters on display on a continuous basis located in Charlotte campus Faculty Scholarship room.
