CWDIR Research and Scholarship Agenda
The Center’s research agenda is grounded within three primary trajectories:
- Diversity socialization within the workplace, including social integration, member identity, sense-making, and group dynamics;
- Best practices for creating and sustaining healthy, all-inclusive organizational cultures; and
- Intergroup power dynamics among identity groups in and around organizations.
The 2021-2022 CWDIR research agenda is based on identified needs for exploration in areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Our research agenda focuses on areas of interest both within UOPX and with external groups and partners:

Team 4: Millennials and Leadership
Team 5: Resiliency, the UOPX Degree, and Frontline Healthcare Workers

Team 7: Belonging in the Workplace
Team 8: Belonging in Higher Education
Team 9: Women and Intersectionality
NOTE: In addition to the activities above, several members of the CWDIR leadership team will participate as members of the Research and Thought Leadership working group as a part of the President's Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Dr. Underwood is the Executive Sponsor of this working group.
