Meet the Research Centers

Meet the Research Centers

The School of Advanced Studies is deeply committed to continuing to grow our culture of scholarship. As a part of this commitment, the School had initially launched nine respective research centers in 2014 as the beginning of this initiative. Over the course of several years we have been able to learn a great deal from the endeavor. In 2019, we have since consolidated to three primary research centers that align well with our programs and carry a dynamic and robust synergy that will serve us well through our future goals. The centers are

The Center for Educational and Instructional Technology Research (CEITR)

The Center for Leadership Studies and Organizational Research (CLSOR)

The Center for Workplace and Diversity Inclusion Research (CWDIR)

These research centers are designed to foster discipline-specific advanced learning communities for our doctoral students and faculty. The centers are organized to help make a meaningful social contribution to their communities and influence change in their fields through refining research skills and building theoretical knowledge. Together doctoral students and faculty will focus on real problems in their respective fields through the development of solutions using research and reflective dialogue. Each center is run by a research chair who is an experienced scholar in their field.

Research Center Chairs are responsible for developing and leading their center’s charter, strategic mission and vision, research goals, operations and participation.
