Special Interest Group for Digital Teaching and Learning Resources
Our space affords interdisciplinary scholars and external partners the opportunity to work together to advance the quality of online learning experiences by leveraging digital teaching and learning resources, specifically video chat technologies and collaborative learning tools. Research and professional learning opportunities for faculty, alumni, and students are provided that will deepen the impact of the Research and Scholarship Enterprise.
The mission of the Special Interest Group for Digital Teaching and Learning Resources (SIG-DTLR) is to conduct research that guides the design of effective online programs that enhance the quality of learning experiences in distance education.
The vision of the Special Interest Group for Digital Teaching and Learning Resources (SIG-DTLR) to offer a research space where faculty, alumni, and students will study how to use video chat technologies and collaborative learning tools to create engaging online learning experiences. This Special Interest Group will offer a special invitation for students to participate in research and scholarship activities that advances digital teaching and technology learning resources.
Workshop: Enhancing students’ engagement and learning by integrating synchronous communication into asynchronous courses
