“People are Leaving in Droves” - Strategies to Improve Nurse Retentio

Nursing shortages and financial consequences of nursing turnover compromise both short-term and long-term patient care. The increasingly diverse healthcare workforce encompasses generations including veteran, baby boomer, generation X, millennials, and generation Z. There is limited research linking multigenerational nurses’ emotional intelligence, job satisfaction, and retention. The current study addresses this gap.
