CWDIR Representation at 2018 TQR Conference

Drs. Daniel Roberts and Kimberly Underwood presented at the 9th Annual TQR Conference in Fort Lauderdale , Florida. Daniel presented his paper, "Modifying the Qualitative Delphi Technique to Develop the Female Soldier Support Model."  The paper of the same name was also published in the The Qualitative Report, January 15th, Issue 23 (1).  The paper is a methodology article and a good read for anyone who wants to learn how to use the Delphi technique.

Kimberly Underwood conducted a presentation, based on her study of new employees in Fortune 500 companies, titled, "New Kid on the Block: A Qualitative Exploration of Workplace Learning through the New Employee Lens." This qualitative research study explored formal and informal socialization processes as tools of workplace learning for defining boundaries for diversity socialization. Specifically, this study was formulated to view this dynamic from the lens of new employees of companies that have received multiple annual recognitions for being the “best for diversity.”
