Does Your Culture Support Flexibility?

Workplace flexibility is different for each employee. The essential component is each team must figure out the arrangement which works for them without compromising their ability to deliver excellent results. ‘A culture of flexibility will not be created, adopted, or embraced unless the origination stems from an understanding and belief that every single person in the organization deserves the same consideration and flex work policies.’ Managers need to trust that their employees from the moment they are hired (there should be no need to earn the right to work flexibly). Workplace flexibility requires a cultural change which begins at the top of the organization. Flexibility creates happier, more productive employees, whose work schedules fits their lifestyle, and are willing to give more when the business demands it.
