The School of Advanced Studies is excited to invite you to the KWB Academy in Lone Tree, Colorado!

The purpose of the Academy is to support the University of Phoenix and The School of Advanced Studies community by creating opportunities to begin to establish and further their research and advance scholarship. The goal of the academy is to enable participants to engage an active event and leave with a solid researchable idea, as well as a potential application for scholarship funding support that is ready for submission! Friday’s session engages local community leaders and attendees while Saturday begins our active roundtables. Participants will be paired with University Research Chairs and Research Fellows along with support provided by members of the Committee on Research (COR) who will work with participants to develop a proposal that is ready for university review.

Why You Need This!

-A   facilitated application process that now makes the path to getting your   research out easier!

-The   opportunity to receive funding for your research will become part of your   academic portfolio forever!

-Most   importantly, your research can make a difference in our communities across   the country!

-Credentialing   through publishing is a path to building your academic resume/CV as a   scholar!

“Being   here helped a lot, now I know what I need to change, lunch provided me   contacts in the school district and ideas that I couldn't have   gotten anywhere else!”

“It was more than a conference, since   I have been to many and typical conferences have people talking at   you, not with you! This was simply the most stimulating event I have   ever been to!”

"I've been in an online, doctorate   program, in a cocoon, and today has given me a day to vet my research, to   bolster my research and get some approving nods!"

Participant spots at   this special event and for roundtables are limited and on a RSVP basis until   seats are filled.

The two day Academy will take place Friday Oct 7th and Saturday, Oct 8th, 2016 at   the University of Phoenix Lone Tree Campus.
