Student Scholarships

Student Scholarships

Student Members of CLSER, this blog is for YOU!

Please be aware that there are a number of organizations which offer college and graduate Student Scholarships. These scholarships vary, and I wanted to mention one such scholarship here as an example. Using this example, you can search for scholarship in different topic areas.

The Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) offers a Conference Student Scholarship Program. This scholarship provides students which will help a student attend a conference, either as a presenter or simply as an attendee. You receive:

  • Conference Registration
  • Workshop Registration
  • 1 year AACE/SITE Membership
  • 1 year digital library subscription

As a non-profit, the orgainzation wishes to promote student interaction with scholarship. That is to YOUR advantage. Also, as noted above, this is not the only organization offering students scholarships. So, if you wish to attend a conference, or if you are looking for a bit more financial support, please do not forget to check with organizations within your field of study to see if they offer scholarships. It can help you fund your research, and could help you disseminate your findings through conference attendance.
