Executive Finance Officer becomes CHER and SIG Affiliate: Organizing in Action

Robyn Flint, MSP, MSIO is the Executive Finance Officer or the University of Phoenix. Ms. Flint recently became an Affiliate of the Center for Health Engineering and Research (CHER).  With a background in industrial/organizational psychology and an ongoing interest in mental health research, Robyn became a member of the Mental Health and Psychological Well-being Special Interest Research Community.

As Vice Chair of the Phoenix Women Rising program, Robyn has gathered three panelists for a panel event, Wednesday, October 25 addressing women and stress. The event, "Phoenix Women Rising: Keeping Well During Stressful Times" will include presentations from Tracy DeSoto, Director, Financial Services; Xan Simonson, NMD; and CHER Associate University Research Chair, Dr. Walker Ladd, to participate in a discussion regarding women and stress. Dr. Ladd will promote the new CHER mission to expand health research to include mental health and psychological well-being, with a brief presentation regarding mindfulness practices, the brain, and resilience.
