The Center for Health and Nursing Research Needs YOU!

Want to get the most out of your CHNR affiliation? Want to share your ideas in a community of like-minded individuals? Want to help build the CHNR's presence within the univerisity and beyond? We can help.

As part of the Center for Health and Nursing Research, you have the opportunity to contribute blog posts to the center's website. We highly encourage you to do so. Adding content will help our community grow and thrive.

What kind of things can I post about?

There are a variety of things you can post about. Here are some ideas:

  • Research updates
  • Announcements
  • Conference information/Attendance Report
  • Call for collaboration
  • Share your interests
  • Talk about your research process

How long should my posts be?

A typical blog post does not need to be long. A simple 300 - 500 words will be great. Have an idea but need help filling up a page? Post a draft, and let us know. We can help you edit your post once it's in the system.

How do I post?

See the tutorial: Adding a Blog to the Research Hub here.

What if I need help?

If you need help with your content, finding a graphic, or in uploading your post, feel free to reach out to Dr. Jared Padgett by email (

Are you ready to start adding your content to the blog now? We look forward to reading your posts. Your contributions will be a fantastic resource for your fellow students, affiliates, faculty, and alumni.
