Research Fellow Dr. Lillie Hibbler-Britt Presented at the ACBSP International Conference, Cancun, Mexico

Dr. Hibbler-Britt presented about "Intellectual Curiosity and Leadership." Intellectual Curiosity must be incorporated into curriculums in order to prepare students to become leaders in today’s workplace. ACBSP is the accreditation body for UOPX School of Business. Approximately 125 persons was in attendance. The session she attended was selected from translation from English to Spanish.

Alum Dr. Jermani "Felicia" Thompson presented at ILA Conference

Alum Dr. Jermani "Felicia" Thompson presented a research paper titled “The Latina’s Long Game to Succeed in U.S. Financial Services Despite Social Class Bias”. This work is based on her dissertation that investigated female project managers readiness and capabilities in leadership in the financial industry.  Her dissertaion measured managers' formal and informal trainings of tacit and implicit knowledge.  Dr. Thomspon graduated from SAS in 2017 from the DMIST program and has since been pro-actively pursuing publication opportunities.
