Educators’ Perceptions of Technology Integration into the Classroom:

Rita J. Hartman, Mary Townsend, and Marlo Jackson have submitted their research article, "Educators’ Perceptions of Technology Integration into the Classroom:  A Descriptive Case Study," to the Journal of Research in Innovative Teaching and Learning.  Members of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology who transitioned from a traditional learning environment to a learning environment integrating technology shared reflections on their experiences during the change process.  This descriptive case study explored and described the values, beliefs, and confidence of the participants surfacing humanistic challenges educators encountered. Findings may provide stakeholders with ideas and strategies for generating renewed efforts and inspiration to embrace technology to enhance the learning environment.  The article has also been submitted to AECT and to KWB.
