CEITR Researchers' Book Chapter to be Featured in New Book To Be Released in July 2018

CEITR Researchers Dr. Lunthita Duthely, Dr. Sandra Nunn, and Dr. John Avella recently learned that the book "Multicultural Andragogy for Transformative Learning" featuring their chapter 4 contribution entitled "Spirituality and Religion as Cultural Influences in Andragogy" has been published and is scheduled for release in July 2018.  Published by IGI, the 322-page book addresses a variety of perspectives relative to adult learning and includes topics such as adult learners, andragogy, autonomous learning, critical theory, culturally responsive teaching, culture, indigenous knowledge, informal learning, internalization, and transformational learning.  Edited by David P. Peltz (University of Phoenix) and Anthony C. Clemons (Columbia University), the book took over a year to complete.  Once released, the book will prove useful to educators and academics in higher education as they strive to teach traditional and non-traditional students.

More information will be provided once the book is released.  Further information on the book can be found at the publisher's website.
