Abstract: 
Engaging students online can be positive for both students and faculty alike, but there is often a lack of meaningful interaction. With the advent and popularity of social networking, students, staff, and faculty are taking advantage of sites like Facebook to connect. This session will offer examples of how to build community in the "virtual campus," and successfully engage students online. This can especially beneficial to service members who are deployed to remote locations.
