The main purpose of the study was to describe the employees’ perception of the mayor’s leadership style and the employees’ level of organizational commitment within several departments within the municipality. The demographic profile (age, gender, race, education, and length of service) of the employees was also identified. The study examined the relationship between the independent variables (leadership style and demographic profile) and dependent variable (organizational commitment).
